CCS is now accepting letters of interest & resumes for classroom teachers for the 2012-2013 school year. Interviews will be determined by resume review, and identified candidates will be scheduled for interviews.

 

Prospective Teacher Qualifications:
  • State certification (any state)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree with two years experience
  • NCLB Highly Qualified Area Competency: Early Childhood Education; Elementary Education; Special Education; Physical Education; Technology; etc.
  • Arizona Class One Fingerprint Card

Classified Positions

Challenge Charter School does not have any classified positions open for the current school year.  You are still welcome to submit a resume for future consideration.


Administrative Positions

Challenge has an immediate LAN position open in our IT department. The position is for a Small business Local Area Network Administrator.

 

The CCS LAN Administrator shall:

 

Provide maintenance, service, troubleshooting, repair, and updates per management on all of the following:

  • Microsoft Windows/Active Directory and all related hardware & software. User groups.
  • Servers including: 2008 Microsoft Hyper-V virtual servers, domain controllers, SQL, Applications, Ed, mail, and Web llS6 .
  • Schoolmaster student database system
  • Web site administration
  • ADE compliance reporting
  • Microsoft Exchange 2007
  • Approximately 150 Windows based computers.
  • CIPA – Children’s Internet Protection Act
  • Printers and copiers, voicemail/phone system
  • Student and staff support, training, and special projects
  • All needed/related applications/hardware/software
  • Testing administration
  • PCI compliance & SSL certificates
  • Backups
  • On call system maintenance. Must respond after hours and remotely as problems arise.
  • Network security
  • Special projects as assigned by management.

 

 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

 

1.  Skills and knowledge level to deal w/day to day network support for all servers and end user needs w/software & hardware applications & repair.

2.  Strong interpersonal and people skills for a school environment working closely in a major support role with school management.  Developing reports and recommending processes and updates in the system.

3.  Understanding and experience working with and for a school environment (30/35 teachers & 650 students) with specific programing for student learning & accountability; reporting to ADE; internal utilization of data for review by others. 

4.  Best practices for the industry and regulations and solid, ethical decision making in full compliance with CCS Network and Internet Access policy.

5.  Confidentiality and discretion
