To wrap up their studies on ancient Greece, second grade students participated in their very own Olympic Games! Our second grade Olympians participated in four events: the shot put, discus throw, suit of armor race, and the foot race. The students did an amazing job of cheering on their friends and trying their very best in each event. At the end of the day, the students walked to the closing ceremonies proudly wearing their olive branch headbands and carrying their torches high. It was a fun filled day for everyone!
