Multicultural Unity Day
October 22, 2011
On October 22, Challenge Charter School families joined together
in unity to share some of the unique traditions, dances, foods,
arts and crafts that make up their heritages. The diverse CCS
family cultures include countries from almost all seven
continents.
Thank you ALL for joining us in this enlightening event
and a special thank you to the families who displayed their
family's cultures for all to enjoy. Your generosity
and enthusiasm was remarkable and appreciated so much by your
CCS Family!
Family Testimonials:
"Thank you for allowing us to share a culture with the students.
A Multicultural Day allows students, parents and staff to
experience different cultures, to open their minds, hearts and
stomachs. The Tallant family enjoyed all aspects this day. I
hope that CCS can host another Multicultural Day next year."

"Thank you for organizing this event. We enjoyed ourselves very
much. It was a great chance for our daughter to share her
culture and learn about others. This will help her to be
comfortable with any environment she finds herself in." ~
Deeva Ahmed.
